We set off around 8 a.m. to reach the national reserve by its opening time, arrive at the reef before the boats with divers, and increase the likelihood of encountering marine life.
WATER SESSION
AT SHARKS OBSERVATORY
At 9 a.m. we arrive at the beach, entering the water by 9:30. We explore a spectacular underwater landscape with massive rocks adorned by coral formations that begin near the surface and extend to comfortable diving depths of 10-15 meters on one side, while dropping to greater, more scenic depths on the other. The area is part of Ras Mohammed National Park, which also features unique attractions including a saltwater mangrove swamp and the "Magic Lake" - a turquoise body of highly saline water connected to the sea through underground channels.
Around noon, we head to a Bedouin camp in the desert landscape. Here, traditional charcoal-grilled kebabs await us, served with fresh flatbread and authentic Bedouin tea brewed with herbs. As we gather under the shade of tents, the aroma of grilled meat and spices fills the air - creating a perfect blend of adventure and local culture. After lunch and rest, we begin our journey back, arriving at the hotel by mid-afternoon. The experience leaves us with unforgettable memories of desert hospitality.
